[ad_1]

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Love on the Line 2?

Both Love on the Line and this new book, Love on the Line 2, are stories of a young women’s struggle to find balance and equality in a career where her small size, her emotions, and the resistance to a woman on site are on a collision course with her goals and relationships.

I wrote these books because the stories depict the struggles many women (including myself and my daughters) face working in rugged environments, in male-dominated fields, and in places far from friends and family.

If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of Love on the Line 2, what would they be?

Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson.

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?

My favorite genres to read are romance, women’s fiction, and of course, cozy mysteries. Yes, I also love to write stories in these genres.

What books are on your TBR pile right now?

The Secret Book and Scone Society, and Country Strong,

What scene in your book was your favorite to write?

I loved writing scene about Andy and her mentor, her Grandpa Buck.

Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)

I like to write early in the morning before the phone starts ringing.

If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?

You can accomplish anything you set out to do!
