Dreo Air Fryer Pro Max Review
I recently received a Dreo Air Fryer to check out and review. Now I do know a few people with Air Fryers and they love them. So given the chance I was thrilled to give this one a shot. Believe it or not I do a lot of cooking.
I want to start with the look of it. It really is an attractive appliance. It has a window in the front that you can peak at your food with an interior light so you can check cooking progress without pulling out the basket which is pretty cool. The touch screen on top that lights up when you turn it on is nice.
One Touch Control
Many functions on the control panel with a large and easy-to-read display gives you plenty of choices to help you. This makes it super easy to use. You can set it for cooking mode, Air fry, Roast, Broil and you can even dehydrate with this thing! The type of food you’re cooking, time and temperature also. It even reminds you to shake the container if you need to. I don’t know the science behind all this but I think it’s magic to tell the truth.
The removable try is dishwasher safe but it is really easy enough to hand wash it. I have not put it in the dishwasher.
So, since I really never used an air fryer before and had no idea what I was doing I
used the little cook book that came with it. Oh yeah did I tell you it comes with a 100-recipe cookbook?
My first attempt was a whole chicken. I just followed the recipe and let me tell you. This was without a doubt the best roast chicken I have ever had. (If I do say so myself) This was better than my smoked Chicken I make in my Smoker. 100 time better than any rotisserie chicken you’ll get at your local grocery store. This was a large 6-pound Chicken so as you see there is plenty of room in the Basket.
My next was Chicken Wings. being in western New York we kind of pride ourselves on Wings around here. So, for this I got a recipe online to kitchenathoskins.com for some Garlic Parm Chicken Wings. Once again these are almost the best wings I have ever had. Certainly, the best Homemade I have had but we are in western NY so the Local bars and restaurants are pretty good too. Here are the ingredients I used.
Butter – Unsalted butter (reduce salt if using salted butter)
Garlic – Loads for minced fresh garlic
Seasonings – Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder and paprika.
Parsley – Minced fresh parsley or dried parsley
Flour – Just a tablespoon of all purpose flour to give some crispiness
Prep wings – Stir flour, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder together and toss chicken wings, until evenly coated.
Air Fry – Cook wings at 350°F for 15 minutes and then at 400°F for 5 minutes.
Coat in garlic parmesan sauce – Cook minced garlic and butter in very low flame, until garlic begins to get pale in color. Immediately, pour into a bowl and stir along with red pepper flakes, salt, garlic powder and parsley. Once wings are done cooking, transfer them into the garlic butter and toss well to combine. Stir in grated parmesan
Next, I tried a Garlic Herb Turkey Breast and of course it turned out great. I won’t Bore you with the details but take my word for it
In Closing I have to say this Dreo Air Fryer Pro Max is a fantastic product. I will be using constantly. I think compered to others I have seen on the Market This is the one to get. There are smaller one available but I do prefer the big one. You can just do more with them. So if you are looking for a great gift for someone (or yourself) You found it.
Who knows maybe I’ll even try to dehydrate some Apples…?
